Founded in 1994, Tasia’s Tailoring is a third-generation family business dedicated to the art and craft of fine tailoring. Our story starts with Tasia Jarosz the founder of Tasia’s Tailoring. Tasia learned to sow at an early age as a young girl in Poland. She came to Connecticut in 1980 and built Tasia’s Tailoring from the ground up. Tasia left her legacy, her thriving business and knowledge of tailoring from decades of honing the craft to her daughter Kate. After Tasia’s retirement Kate took over the family business circa 2017. Since then, Kate has proudly honored the tradition of fine and outstanding tailoring that Tasia’s Tailoring has always provided winning Best in Hartford Magazine in the Tailoring category in 2018 & 2019. With 30 years of passion for alterations we are honored to be the top tailor in the Farmington Valley / Hartford area.
